The program of the conference is available here.

Friday guided city tour: A tour of the landmarks of the historical center, followed by important buildings from the first half of the 20th century, built according to the designs of leading Czech architects. We will visit the Great Square and move to Jiráskovy Sady. This will be followed by the Art Nouveau hydroelectric power station Hučák, the Gočár schools complex, Masaryk Square and the Museum of East Bohemia.

Saturday’s trip is planned as one option that is feasible for everyone. We will take the train to the Kuks station. We will see the pearl of the Czech Baroque Hospital Kuks and set off on an eight-kilometre relaxing hiking tour. Along the relief of St. Francis and over the viewpoint of the Špork estate, we will reach Braun’s Nativity scene, representing the pinnacle of European Baroque sculpture in plein air. We will return past the Chapel of St. Odilon along the 21st-century Calvary of the 21st Century and through Špork’s Mill and the Holy Trinity Chapel in St. Clement’s Quarry, where we will see an outdoor exhibition of sculptures. We will walk along the Elbe River back to Kuks and take the train to the Hradec Králové base camp.
