The conference aims to acquaint its participants with the latest mathematical and statistical methods that can be used in solving theoretical and practical problems and challenges of economics. The conference gives a unique chance to present research results achieved in the area where mathematics and statistics border with economics.
This year, the conference will take place in Nižná, Slovakia from 28 Aug 2019 to 1 Sept 2019. The conference starts with a welcome drink on Wednesday, 28 Aug 2019. The next two days are reserved for the presentation of conference papers. Friday afternoon and Saturday are reserved to the social program.
There are various possibilities of a trip in Nižná and the nearby surroundings. In addition to free-lance walks two trips will be organized for conference participants who may look forward to a guided tour of the Orava Castle on Friday afternoon and to a full-day walking trip to the Roháče Mountains on Saturday. The conference closes on Sunday morning, 1 Sept 2019.
Papers should be thematically related to applications of mathematics and statistics in economics and should fall in one of the following sections:
Papers presented at the conference must go through a blind peer review process in order to qualify for inclusion into the conference proceedings. Papers will be reviewed prior to being presented at the conference..
Two conditions are required for a paper to be published in the book of proceedings: (i) it must pass through the review process successfully, and (ii) it must be presented at the conference. As has became a custom over the past years, the conference proceedings will be sent to Clarivate Analytics to be considered for inclusion into the Conference Proceedings Citation Index.
